Hey I think we should all go to Button bay again with our campers and vans. It would fun to gather and eat food, fish and do what ever.

We should schedule a weekend and go every year!

I saw you slide through Bristol at around 8am Saturday. I was munching a Breakfast Burrito at the Bakery. I love that rack.

No I missed Elvis. He never goes to the bakery.
I awoke the summer fleet today. All of them started up and drove around. Drier sheets worked for the most part repelling the rodents. The Red Audi popped a brake line in the rear. I await PK blaster and hope he does his work well.
I even rode a motorcycle up the road. What an awesome day out.

Nice Trailer! I need to borrow one of those for Waterbury. Take a week and load it up with Pre-priced treasures. Drag it to Waterbury with my cooler and a grill. Sit in the sun all day and sell junk to the less Junk fortunate.

I have a Troy Built Rototiller that I never use. ITs a 5  horse model. IT also needs the Ethanol menace cleaned from its carburetor.  I should sell it.

That would make a great travel van. Road trips would be cushy. But there's something about traveling in a small car with a good suspension and tires. The back roads and not the interstate.

We never take the interstates in the Van. IT never goes more then 50mph. I have been fiddling with the suspension a little at a time. New 3/4 front springs are next. I may try and get a fat sway bar too to tighten up the Body roll that all Vans seem to have. Perhaps a steering damper too. A rebuild on the steering box would help to reduce the Swim like steering. ITs Van, be on vacation when you get in it and haul your bikes and boats with ease. Parts are cheap and they are real simple. Anyone can fix a van.

I talked to the guy I bought the roof rack from and he said the motor went and the DP van is headed to the crusher. it is too bad he just had the trans rebuilt. i would like the trans it is the same as mine I think.

My van needs suspension work also. I am going to start with bilstein HD shocks. would like to add a steering dampener too. doesn't have the brackets for it but I can get them.

RockAuto has a damper kit with brackets, actually several types.
Here is one

That is the great thing about these vehicles, the parts a cheap and the rigs are simple. If you have a rust free  unit and some tools almost anything can be done in your driveway.

They seem to have the best price I wonder how much shipping is. Anyway I am not ready for it yet.
Yesterday at a monkton yard sale I saw an early 90s ford conversion van with 40K from florida for $3200 looked new.

Than 1/2 ton Chevy in Jericho is down to 900. He wants to move it.

For those of you who like plow trucks check this relic out. Its a 1972 3/4 ton Chevy 4X4 with a plow and a dump body. Clean too but expensive 7500 is probably more then it cost new.

Yes very nice set up. You ought to be able to set up a nice booth with all that capacity.  You could camp right in that trailer too.

The perfect Bunny Van. Looks like 133K miles zero rust. 2000 dollars and you get 15mpg around town. Do the math before you buy a 15000 dollar car that gets 35mpg.  13000 buys a lots of gas, 55k miles worth.  The 15000 dollar car will be costing you 20500 at the 55K mile mark. Thats just gas and purchase price. We are not talking expensive insurance and higher sales tax either for the more expensive rig. Buy rust free used in Vermont. Do the MAth

Already looked at it. Jon told us about it weeks ago and we went and looked at it. Wrong inside layout, hard to put a rack on it. ITs been sitting a while, dual wheels in the back. Cheap though.  I might go look at this one. I always liked this model
