It's about a month out till our fall event at GRR - Oct 14 - 16. So get ready for our 25th year, we've had some great years and some not so great, but fun nonetheless. I'm planning on being at GRR on the 14th and will checkout on the 16th, I'll be a better man for it. The park (last year), still had the big carts to haul equipment, and the gate is unlocked, and there's no fee. Best deal around for camping. Site 21 is the place to be!
Ludd...... Got some sparklers, rockets and shooting stars for ya. I rode off on my motorcycle with both saddle bags stuffed and my backpack jammed tight. Keep that Jeep on the road, and look forward to seeing you.

I'll be there unless we're out visiting family and friends in Washington.

Me Too, unless someone dies or gets taken hostage by Aliens. Good choice when they are closed.
Just got back from a 460 mile tow, straight shot from Dillsburg PA to Sarksboro Vt. 10 hours in the saddle, van ran like a clock. 60-65mph interstate travel Attached Images

You bringing all your gear to GRR in that trailer? '-)

Couple of windows and it's set up for a family of four. Truly a mobile home.

Its an 8 wheeled duplex that the town can't tax, yet.

bob I thought u were towing it with the other van. need help on your house ? I will give you 2200 for the trailer. just got back from brim, it was ok not great. stayed the weekend to try and make up for slow start. sold the fan with the round motor for $1750. doing 2 more Ny shows in the near future. you should come.

Well if you will give me 2200 it must be worth 3500. Not going to sell it for now and we don't need any help for the time being. Its funny I got a call today from a neighbor who also wanted to buy it for his construction business. Its only been here for less then a day. You cant make it up.
I took the camper just because its only got 80K miles on it and its a one ton, better set up for towing, bigger springs and an over drive defeat feature for big hills. My wife likes traveling in it better then my ratty old biker van which actually has 147K on it. What shows and when? We have a lot of stuff to do in the coming weeks so we may run out of time this year.

I'm in for the 3500 I want it to trailer my '33 Coupe to shows
Reply with quote #10
Now four people want it, do I hear 4000?
My wife is not interested in selling it as we have a purpose for it and we want to use it for that. I didn't look that hard, seems like you should be able to locate one. This size is too big for a Tacoma. Looks like the Tacoma is only rated to tow 3500 pounds so you could only drag it around empty. You would need a bigger Truck. You could get an aluminum open car hauler and likely get in under the 3500 pound limit.

I believe your the one that said "it must be worth 3500"
Where'd ya learn that technique of selling?
Trust me if I wanted one, I'd have one, truck or trailer or both.

sorry bob I cant afford to get it, my wife said no. my techniques will have to be more of the old fashion way.

I just heard the latest from the Hillary Clinton health issue. They found pneumonia stabbed in the back twice.

Hey this thread needs to go back to the original point. GRR is the location and we need to rally.
How do we get those who have turned away (lazy!) to come back to the fold? Jon, Stan, Roy, DP ? What the hell you cant take a weekend off and come camp in a very nice colorful place with your friends? Just sayin, on your death bed you will not remember stayin home doing the same old same old. You will remember making the effort.

I have to pack, weather looks good!

Joe, I decided to bag all the stuff I need to do around the house and go camping at GRR. If you need a boat, I need a bow paddler.
I could be at the put-in by 10:00 or so.

Ludd! That's most excellent. Safe travels. I'll leave your stash of fireworks under my blue Nissian Sentra. I'd pack them in for ya, but Tom and I will do well just getting our load in our canoe.
We now have 6 going...... Come on boys, we now officially have a party, be there or I will write a song about you.
