Expecting DP and Eric are getting all geared up for some woodland recreation this weekend. Looking at this current snow pack map, the tracking won't be so good. Good luck Men, and remember, it ain't meat till it's in the pan. Myself, I'm looking forward to riding the MC sunday. Sorry for the over anxious boys that want to go skiing this weekend.....boo hoo....waa waa.....sniff sniff....sob sob. I plan on golfing Saturday.....Ha.

Joe, where are you planning on golfing? I might join you for a round of golf if you can stand watching me duff a few [dozen] shots.

We rode Bikes Yesterday in Richmond. No snow on the hill behind Cochrans. Lots of leaves and I did see a flock of Turkeys.

We have a dusting of Snow at my house, feels like Winter up here. Golf? We will be getting socks in Northfeild in the AM Saturday. Golf?

Yeah Golf, sock-boy. Enjoy spending your time off buying socks......WTF, don't you make enough money to forgo waiting in line to buy discounted socks? I just ask for darn tough socks for x-mas, and play golf when it's nice and sunny out.

Tom, I'm going to call around today to see who's open. I'll let you know. Wish you didn't have to drive so far for a round. I'll call Sue and see if she can go. We can always hit wilcox.....they never close! Suppose to be in the mid 40's and sunny....perfect for GOLF! And of course sock buying! WTF!

Yea the Wife and I will spend the AM rolling back roads in search of fresh new socks. Its like hunting except we will get our Socks and likely lunch too.  Golf? 40 degress out and you wanna play Golf?

The Woods are closed for a bit because of all the gun toting red necks. Aint safe to ride bikes in the woods for the next 2 weeks. A biker with orange looks so much like a deer.

I rode HTF this afternoon-all the classic routes! Probably the last daytime ride before Spring unless we have a mild winter. Good luck to all the hunters out there especially DP! After all, what would Burling cabin be like without fresh venison from DP?

See its those down country city slickers that want to bring their ways of thinking up here to Vermont. They love Vt and all its beauty but screw those generations of tradition.
Guns are for cops & robbers only right?

Oh grow up. I heard a bullet hit the ground near me last season. I was also yelled at by an irate individual with a gun for simply riding by on a bike.

I think Hunters do enough damage to the sport. Us Mt bikers are just looking to get some exercise. We don't kill anything or shot insulators or horses or houses or shoot from our cars.

Traditionally hunting season didn't give hunters 4 ways to get a deer. The woods are full of people with weapons for a long time. Rifle season is the peak where the most powerful weapons are in the hands of the most idiots. Just sayin

I don't think either Joe or I let a few cigarette during a BW cloud our judgment about a group of individuals or as you put it "gun toting red necks". We certainly don't bring it up here on a thread unless we're taunted first.

So are you suggesting Gun toting red necks don't exist? Really? Do you read the paper, ever?  Perhaps if you lived out where people hunt you would see it differently.

That Pinto was an amazing car. Gerry took it places that even Jeep owners would think twice about.

And it was unpredictable. One time after skiing at Madonna we were driving back down the long hill (right before Morse) and the road was covered in wet snow; Gerry down-shifted and the car immediately started into a 180 spin. Right as a state patrolman was coming towards us in the other lane. Gerry looked over at the cruiser and waved to the trooper as the Pinto plowed into the snowbank, backwards.

Yea I drove with Gerry to the top of Spruce peak in one of those Pintos. At the time is was a rolling adventure wagon for me. Off to who knows where, Pink Floyd cranking on the tape deck and always a supply of supplies for the trip.

Hey look some flatlanders oops Vermonters holding up tradition.
