Pretty sure you can't win if you are in politics. No matter what you do there are some who will find fault. Shumlin has been hunting deer his whole life and he probably shot the Buck on his farm. He owns a big place in southern Vermont. If I had lots of acres I would have a feed lot and probably harvest one too.

I think it's funny that he's getting shit from people complaining about "baiting". Some of the most respected deer hunters have been managing deer "habitat" (apples, clover, etc.) on their property for years. If you've got the land and the time to grow food for fat deer, why not? The whole notion that everything has to be "natural" is a strange one. What's natural? I don't think it exists anymore; at least not in the way people think of it.

Everything is Natural simply because it evolved here without influence from some kind of Magical force not of this world. But then again that would natural given a universe where that was possible.

When we are killing hundreds of deer with cars every year why not cull the heard and eat them if you can? Pretty natural response to a problem of too many deer.

Almost impossible to listen too. IT took 20 minutes to get to a hunter and I never heard a tip the whole time. They seemed real interested in generating likes on Facebook.

Bob isn't available to move deer, he's most likely buying socks. Need socks? Ask Bob.

Got plenty of socks Joe, have not been to the socks sale for a few years. I love their stuff it lasts a long while. Dylan and Casey went yesterday. Its a zoo, huge crowd, cops with guns. They collect a lot of money, 150,000 pairs of socks in two weekends.

Got a deer in my back yard. Fresh tracks this am. I also had an excavator up back. They are Blue lining the whole hill for maple syrup. Cant see it from my house but its going to wreck some of the ski lines. The stream was running brown today. They built a new road across the hill right through the stream. Its amazing what an excavator can do in one day. Soon it will be a big tangle of plastic tubing. Sad really. Logging is one thing but the plastic lines really suck.
